We at Palette are developing the next generation of software defined

network & security products and are looking for Linux developers to join our

growing team. If you live eat & breathe linux and are highly familiar with

Linux development using C, C++ etc we want to hear from you.

We are specifically looking for individuals with a creative streak who are fast learners.

Fresh graduates will be considered if you have strong academic results & a passion

for software development.

 

Your key tasks will be to join a development team developing next gen network

and security devices & you will engage in prototyping and proof of concept studies,

to be followed with actual product design and building. Your key performance

measures will be:

•  Quality of software & its performance and reliability

•  On-time completion of assignments

•  Contribution to the product development  team

•  Quality of oral and written communications & teamwork

 

Requirements:

•             Experience in developing on Linux (Debian, CentOS, Fedora etc)

•             Competency in C language

•             Knowledge of Java, PHP, Python, Ruby, Ajax etc would be an advantage

•             Experience or interest in writing system level code

•             Knowledge of Linux networking and security

•             Knowledge of virtualization (VMWare, VSphere etc)

•             Knowledge of common system vulnerabilities in Linux and other OS.

Senior Android Developers & Programmers

Responsibilities

Development and design of mobile applications and user interfaces.

Responsible for app architecture, structure and interfaces

Keep up to date with latest web technologies, trends and programming techniques.

Active in contributing to Project Management and good reporting skills.

Knowledge of Mobile  Usability best practices.

Experienced in Android app development with strong Java skills

Able to develop creative concepts and ideas into an attractive and efficient apps.

Excellent understanding in app design principles, feasibility and userfriendliness.

Highly creative and attention to detail.

Requirements

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree,  

Computer Science/Information Technology  and with a strong knowledge of Android Programming;

as well as a very good understanding of OOP concepts. An understanding of the requirements imposed

by small screens (mobile phones), limited battery life, minimizing memory usage etc is key.

You must yourself be a big user of smartphones and show a good understanding of what a good smartphone app is.

 

Must have experience in Android SDK, Java, Jquery, XML, Javascript

Knowledge of SQL, Python, Ruby, Ajax & IOS development  would be an advantage.

Required language(s): English

At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Salary will be in line with experience and qualifications.

Candidates will be expected to show examples of their work & apps they have built.
