Palette Multimedia Bhd
is a company involved in developing leading edge networking solutions
encompassing network access and control, wireless technologies, VOIP
and IPTV products. As part of our expansion plans we are looking for a
R&D Manager who will be responsible for managing
Palette's research and product development activities. This is a senior
position and the successful candidate will be a key part of the senior
management team.
(Based in Kuala Lumpur)
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Oversee
the R&D Programme for Palette (planning, monitoring, management and
reporting, including developing policies and processes).
- Manage, motivate, train, recruit select staff to achieve R&D goals
- Manage planning and development of key products including technology roadmaps
- Implement software development lifecycle program
- Provide co-ordination with other Palette operations in order to achieve overall company goals.
Qualifications:
- Post graduate degree in related disciplines (Computer Science, Electronic engineering etc)
- Strong skills and background in software development
- Knowledge of key design technologies for software development such as OOP, OOD, Software QC and metrics
- Knowledge of key networking technologies such as TCP/IP, high speed networking etc.
- Experience in managing a development team.
